We collect: account information (email, name) when you sign up; contract files and URLs you choose to upload for analysis; usage data (how often you use the service, which features you use); and technical data like browser type and IP address for security and improvement purposes.
We use your data to: provide the analysis service you requested; send you account-related emails (login codes, plan changes, notifications); improve our product; detect and prevent abuse; and comply with legal obligations. We do not use your contract content to train AI models.
Contract files are stored temporarily during analysis and may be retained for up to 30 days for troubleshooting. Analysis metadata (risk scores, clause breakdowns) is retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@saul.massgrowthlab.com.
We use minimal cookies — only for authentication (keeping you logged in) and essential service functionality. We don't use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser but some features may not work properly.
We use: Resend for transactional emails; cloud infrastructure providers for hosting; and AI model providers (OpusMax) for analysis. These providers are contractually bound to protect your data and use it only for the services they provide to us.
We use HTTPS everywhere, hash passwords, and apply standard security practices. No system is 100% secure — if you have concerns about a specific risk, email us at security@saul.massgrowthlab.com.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to: access a copy of your data; correct inaccurate data; delete your data; object to certain processing; or export your data. Contact us at privacy@saul.massgrowthlab.com to exercise any of these rights.
Saul is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
If we change this policy significantly, we'll update the "Last updated" date and notify you via email. Minor changes (rephrasing, clarifications) may be made without notice.
